Quality Forum: Ukrainian Berries and Nuts Sector Development

On November 24–25, 2026, Kyiv will host the Forum on Quality and Development of Ukraine’s Berry and Nut Sector, which will bring together representatives from the public sector, business, industry associations, laboratories, educational institutions, and international organizations to discuss key priorities for the sector’s development.

The Forum will serve as a platform for professional dialogue on enhancing the competitiveness of Ukrainian producers, strengthening quality infrastructure, and expanding access for Ukrainian products to domestic and international markets.

Key Topics of the Forum

Participants will discuss current challenges and opportunities for Ukraine’s berry and nut sector, including the role of standards, laboratory services, conformity assessment, and other components of the quality infrastructure in ensuring product competitiveness.

Special attention will be given to Ukraine’s European integration, the development of sustainable value chains, strengthening export potential, and the sector’s role in the country’s green recovery and sustainable economic development.

The forum will facilitate the exchange of experiences among representatives of business, government agencies, the expert community, and international partners, as well as help identify practical directions for the sector’s further development.

Organizers

The Forum is organized with the support of Switzerland as part of the Global Quality and Standards Program in Ukraine (GQSP Ukraine), implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

The program aims to enhance the competitiveness of Ukrainian enterprises, develop quality infrastructure, and strengthen the capacity of small and medium-sized businesses to meet the requirements of domestic and international markets.

The Forum on Quality and Development of Ukraine’s Berry and Nut Sector is designed to strengthen cooperation among key industry stakeholders and foster a shared vision for the sector’s future development.
