Module 1 of the training program “Export of Berries, Nuts, and Processed Products” has been successfully completed

The first module of the practical training program “Export of berries, nuts and their processed products” has been completed, which brought together 57 participants – producers, processors and exporters of berries and nuts, as well as representatives of laboratories, conformity assessment bodies and other quality infrastructure institutions from different regions of Ukraine.
For two days, together with leading experts, the participants worked on key aspects of preparing for export: from assessing the readiness of the enterprise, analyzing target markets and requirements of international buyers to standards, certification, developing an export strategy and organizing international supplies.

We sincerely thank our speakers for their high professionalism, openness to dialogue and willingness to share practical experience:

  • Olena Poperechna – certified export trainer, director and co-founder of Global Marketing Project LLC, expert in national support programs for SMEs and exporters. Has over 20 years of experience in consulting, market analytics, business planning and support of Ukrainian companies in international markets.
  • Yulia Slyva — Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Standardization and Certification of Agricultural Products of the National University of Life Sciences of Ukraine, international expert in food safety (FAO, USAID, GIZ), lead auditor of food safety management systems in accordance with the requirements of ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 and GLOBALG.A.P.
  • Maksym Belozyorov — entrepreneur, business trainer, certified export consultant, co-founder of the export B2B marketplace Faktorist.com and owner of the consulting company “Fruzby Ukraine”. Has over 20 years of experience in developing commercial and production projects and supporting Ukrainian companies at all stages of entering international markets — from finding partners to fulfilling export contracts.

The participants showed great activity, there were many meaningful questions, open dialogue and understanding that each participant seeks to develop their own business. It is especially valuable that not only business representatives, but also quality infrastructure specialists joined the training. It is such cooperation that contributes to the formation of a stronger ecosystem of export support, the development of a quality culture and increasing the competitiveness of the Ukrainian berry and nut sector.

All questions received during the training will be processed by experts. We will definitely prepare answers so that none of them is left without attention.
Ahead is the final testing. We wish all participants to successfully pass it and receive certificates of completion of the first module!

The second module of the training program will start on August 4: “Corporate Finance and Tax Management for Berry and Nut Producers”

During the training, participants will receive practical tools for effective financial management of the enterprise, profitability analysis, cash flow planning, financial risk management and export financing.

Three more thematic modules are ahead, dedicated to financial management, grant opportunities and intellectual property. Together, they form a comprehensive training program designed to help Ukrainian producers and processors of berries and nuts strengthen their positions in international markets.

Together, we are forming a stronger quality ecosystem and supporting the development of a competitive, export-oriented berry and nut sector of Ukraine.
